Grand Cru Florimont, with its fruity characteristics this wine will develop candied lemony tones by ageing. Its magnitude, equilibrium and great ageing capacity will produce a very elegant wine.
Grand Cru Mambourg, presents very characteristic harmonious wines which age well. They are elegant and refined with lingering powerful aromas.
Vendanges Tardives - Late Harvests : By very great years, these wines are produced from grapes in overmaturity, which is linked with noble rot and desiccation. The aromatic character of the vine is enhanced by the phenomena of concentration and the development of noble rot.
Sélections de Grains Nobles – Noble Rotted Sweet Wines : Exceptional wines, the ‘Sélection de Grains Nobles’ are obtained by successive sorting of grapes affected by noble rot. The concentration attenuates the character of the vine to the benefit of its strength, complexity and exceptional duration of flavour on the palate.
Quintessence : Quintessence is a wine produced with grapes over maturated on vine-plant and picked up after classic harvests, towards mid-November. This selection "Quintessence" is obtained by successive sorting of noble rotted grape-berries.
Hospices de Colmar : It is in 1225 that the civil hospices of the imperial town of Colmar were established. The vineyard patrimony was constituted in the course of years by benefactor givings and legacies, and represents today a prestigious domain, property of the Louis Pasteur’s Civil Hospices.
